عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ قَالَ:
كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَبْلَ رَمَضَانَ بِيَوْمٍ أَوْ يَوْمَيْنِ، فَقُرِّبَ غَدَاؤُهُ، فَقَالَ: " أَفْطِرُوا أَيُّهَا الصُّيَّامُ لَا تُواصِلُوا رَمَضَانَ شَيْئًا، وَافْصِلُوا "، قَالَ: " وَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبْدٍ الْقَارِيُّ صَائِمًا فَحَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ أَفْطَرَ "
Translation
✧ I was with Ibn Abbas a day or two before Ramadan, and his lunch was brought near. He said: "Break your fast, O fasting people. Do not join Ramadan with anything, and separate." He said: "Ibn Abd al-Qari was fasting, and I think he broke his fast."
