عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ حُنَيْنٍ يَقُولُ:
كَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يُنْكِرُ أَنْ يُتَقَدَّمَ فِي صِيَامِ رَمَضَانَ إِذَا لَمْ يَرَوُا الْهِلَالَ هِلَالَ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ، وَيَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِذَا لَمْ تَرَوُا الْهِلَالَ فَأَكْمِلُوا ثَلَاثِينَ يَوْمًا
Translation
✧ Ibn Abbas used to reject advancing the fast of Ramadan when they had not seen the crescent of the month of Ramadan, and he would say: The Messenger of God ﷺ said: If you do not see the crescent, then complete thirty days.
