✧ When is the child commanded to fast?

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ لَبِيبَةَ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:
إِذَا صَامَ الْغُلَامُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مُتَتَابِعَةً فَقَدْ وَجَبَ عَلَيْهِ صِيَامُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
Translation
✧ If the boy fasts three consecutive days, the fasting of the month of Ramadan becomes obligatory upon him.
