عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي يَحْيَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ سَهْلٍ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ: " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ
كَانَ يَبْعَثُ فَرْوَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو يَخْرُصُ النَّخْلَ، فَإِذَا دَخَلَ الْحَائِطَ حَسَبَ مَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْأَقْنَاءِ، ثُمَّ ضَرَبَ بَعْضَهَا عَلَى بَعْضٍ عَلَى مَا يَرَى فِيهَا، وَكَانَ لَا يُخْطِئُ
Translation
✧ He used to send Farwah b. ʿAmr to estimate the palms. When he entered the orchard, he would count the clusters in it, then strike some of them against others according to what he saw in them, and he would not be mistaken.
