عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ طَلْحَةَ يَعْنِي مُوسَى،
وَكَانُوا أَخَذُوا مِنْ حُبُوبٍ لَهُ فِي أَرْضِهِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ لِعَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ - وَدَخَلَ عَلَيْهِ -: بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكُمْ كِتَابُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ: " لَمْ يَأْخُذْ مِنَ الْخُضَرِ شَيْئًا
Translation
✧ They had taken from grains of his on his land, and I heard him say to Abd al-Hamid—when he entered upon him—“Between me and you is the document of Muadh b. Jabal: He did not take anything from green produce.”
