عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ:
بَعَثَ الْحَجَّاجُ مُوسَى بْنَ مُغِيرَةَ عَلَى السَّوَادِ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ مِنْ خُضَرِ السَّوَادِ، فَقَالَ: مُوسَى بْنُ طَلْحَةَ عِنْدِي كِتَابُ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ: أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ مِنَ الْحِنْطَةِ، وَالشَّعِيرِ، وَالزَّبِيبِ، وَالتَّمْرِ " قَالَ: فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلْحَجَّاجِ، فَقَالَ: " صَدَقَ
Translation
✧ Al-Hajjaj sent Musa b. Mughirah over the Sawad, and he wanted to take from the green produce of the Sawad. Musa b. Talhah said: “I have the document of Muadh b. Jabal, from the Messenger of God ﷺ: He commanded him to take from wheat, barley, raisins, and dates.” He said: I mentioned that to al-Hajjaj, and he said, “He spoke the truth.”
