Musannaf 'Abd al-Razzaq 7228

Translation

✧ There is no sadaqah except on palm trees or grapes or crops. Amr b. Dinar and Abd al-Karim b. Abi al-Mukhariq said that. I said to Ata, "Is there sadaqah on all grains?" He said, "Yes," and he named for me all grains. He said, "I said, 'What about sorghum, millet, khulkhan (a type of grain), lentils, and ihriz (a type of grain)?' He said, 'Yes, on all grains.' He said, 'I said, "What about taqdidah (a type of grain)?" He said, 'There is sadaqah on it; it is a grain. Sadaqah is on all grains.' I said, 'And is there no sadaqah on anything besides that?' He said, 'No.'"
