✧ If Its Zakat Is Paid, It Is Not a Treasure

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ:
إِذَا أَخْرَجْتَ صَدَقَةَ مَالِكَ فَقَدْ أَذْهَبْتَ شَرَّهُ، وَلَيْسَ بِكَنْزٍ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: Abū al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jābir b. ʿAbdullāh say:
✧ If you take out the charity of your wealth, you have removed its evil, and it is not a treasure.
