عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ،
أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ: " كَانَتْ تَكُونُ عِنْدَهُ أَمْوَالُ يَتَامَى، فَيَسْتَلِفُ أَمْوَالَهُمْ لِيُحْرِزَهَا مِنَ الْهَلَاكِ، ثُمَّ يُخْرِجُ زَكَاتَهَا مِنْ أَمْوَالِهِمْ كُلَّ عَامٍ
Translation
✧ ‘Abd Allāh b. ‘Umar used to hold the wealth of orphans, and he would borrow their wealth to safeguard it from loss, then he would pay its zakāh from their wealth every year.
