عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ يَكُونُ الطَّعَامُ عِنْدَ أَبِي مِنْ أَرْضِهِ، فَيَمْكُثُ عِنْدَهُ السَّنَتَيْنِ وَالثَّلَاثَ يُرِيدُ بَيْعَهُ، فَلَا يُزَكِّيهِ بَعْدَ الزَّكَاةِ الْأُولَى يَنْتَظِرُ بِهِ الْغَلَاءَ "، قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ: " اسْمٌ لَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَقُولَهُ يَنْتَظِرُ بِهِ الْغَلَاءَ
Translation
✧ Food from my father's land would remain with him for two or three years while he intended to sell it, but he would not pay zakat on it after the first zakat, waiting for prices to rise. Abd al-Razzaq said: '[He used] a word I do not like to say: waiting for prices to rise.'
