عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ:

فِي الصَّيَّادِ يَحْبِسُ صَيْدَهُ سَنَةً، أَوِ الطَّيْرَ يَحْبِسُهَا سَنَةً لَيْسَ فِيهَا زَكَاةٌ حَتَّى يَحْبِسَهَا فِي شَيْءٍ يُدِيرُهُ لِتِجَارَةٍ "، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: " وَكُلُّ إِنْسَانٍ وَرِثَ شَيْئًا فَلَا زَكَاةَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَصْرِفَهُ إِلَّا رَجُلٌ وَرِثَ بَقَرًا، أَوْ غَنَمًا، أَوْ إِبِلًا، أَوْ ذَهَبًا، أَوْ فِضَّةً، أَوْ زَرْعًا

Translation

✧ Regarding a hunter who keeps his catch for a year, or birds that he keeps for a year, no zakat is due on them until he keeps them as part of something he circulates for trade. Sufyan said: 'And anyone who inherits something owes no zakat on it until he disposes of it, except one who inherits cattle, sheep, camels, gold, silver, or crops.'
