✧ Consuming wealth unjustly

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، وَالثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ خَوْلَةَ بِنْتِ قَيْسٍ،
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ تَذَاكَرَ هُوَ وَحَمْزَةُ الدُّنْيَا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: الدُّنْيَا خَضِرَةٌ حُلْوَةٌ فَمَنْ أَخَذَ عِقْوَهَا بُورِكَ لَهُ، وَرُبَّ مُتَخَوِّضٍ فِي مَالِ اللهِ وَمَالِ رَسُولِهِ، لَهُ النَّارُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ and Ḥamza were discussing the world, and the Prophet ﷺ said: The world is green and sweet. Whoever takes its due portion will be blessed, but many who plunge into the wealth of Allah and the wealth of His Messenger will have the Fire on the Day of Resurrection.
