✧ Charity is not lawful for the family of Muhammad ﷺ

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي جَهْضَمٍ سَالِمٍ الْبَصْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَلَا أَقُولُ: نَهَاكُمْ أَنْ نُنْزِيَ حِمَارًا عَلَى فَرَسٍ، وَأَمَرَنَا أَنْ نُسْبِغَ الْوُضُوءَ، وَلَا نَأْكُلَ الصَّدَقَةَ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade us—and I do not say he forbade you—to mate a donkey with a horse, and he commanded us to perform ablution thoroughly, and not to eat charity.
