عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَرَّرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَيْمُونُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ قَالَ:
دَخَلْتُ عَلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَا وَشَيْخٌ أَكْبَرُ مِنِّي قَالَ: حَسِبْتُ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: ابْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الصَّدَقَةِ أَدْفَعُهَا إِلَى الْأُمَرَاءِ ؟ فَقَالَ: " نَعَمْ "، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: وَإِنِ اشْتَرَوْا بِهِ الْفُهُودَ وَالْبِيزَانَ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ "، فَقُلْتُ لِلشَّيْخِ حِينَ خَرَجْنَا: نص إضافيتَقُولُ مَا قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ؟ قَالَ: لَا، فَقُلْتُ أَنَا لِمَيْمُونِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ: أَتَقُولُ مَا قَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ؟ قَالَ: لَا
Translation
✧ I entered upon Ibn Umar, I and a shaykh older than me. He said: I think he said: Ibn al-Musayyib. I asked him about charity: should I hand it over to the commanders? He said: "Yes." He said: I said: Even if they buy with it cheetahs and falcons? He said: "Yes." Then when we went out I said to the shaykh: Do you say what Ibn Umar said? He said: No. Then I said to Maymun b. Mihran: Do you say what Ibn Umar said? He said: No.
