عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ أَنَّهُ
قَالَ لِطَاوُسٍ: لَنَا أَرَضُونَ، أَفَنَضَعُ صَدَقَتَهَا فِي مَوَاضِعِهَا أَوْ نَدْفَعُهَا إِلَيْهِمْ ؟ فَقَالَ: " إِنِ اسْتَطَعْتَ أَنْ تَأْخُذَ بِأَيْدِيهِمْ فَافْعَلْ "، وَقَالَ ابْنُ الْمُسَيِّبِ: " إِنْ كُنْتَ إِذًا وَضَعْتَهَا مَوَاضِعَهَا لَمْ تُوهِنْ ذَلِكَ سُلْطَانَكَ فِيهَا، فِيمَا لَا بُدَّ مِنْهُ مِنَ الْأُعْطِيَةِ وَالثُّغُورِ فَلَا بَأْسَ، وَإِلَّا فَلَا
Translation
✧ He said to Tawus: We have lands; should we put their charity in its proper places or hand it over to them? He said: "If you are able to take them by their hands, then do so." And Ibn al-Musayyib said: "If you then put it in its proper places, your authority over it will not be weakened in what is unavoidable of gifts and frontier posts, then there is no harm; otherwise no."
