✧ The man who gives above the age that is due from him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ،
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ جَاءَ إِلَى رَجُلٍ مِمَّنْ قَدْ أَسْلَمَ، فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ مِنْهُ السِّنَّ الَّتِي تُؤْخَذُ مِنْهُ فِي الصَّدَقَةِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: " لَا تَدَعَنَّ سِنًّا خَيْرًا مِنْ سِنٍّ تَأْخُذُ، فَإِنَّهُ لَمْ يَقُمْ فِيهَا مُصَدِّقٌ لِلهِ قَبْلَكَ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ came to a man from among those who had converted, and he wanted to take from him the age that is taken from him for charity, so he said to him: 'Do not ever leave an age better than the age you take, for no collector for God stood before you for it.'
