عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِابْنِ طَاوُسٍ: أُخْبِرْتُ أَنَّكَ تَقُولُ: قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: إِذَا لَمْ يَجِدِ السِّنَّ فَقِيمَتُهَا قَالَ: " مَا قُلْتُهُ قَطُّ "، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: " فَيُعْطَى مَا شَاءَ "، قَالَ: " لَعَلِّي أَنْ أَكُونَ قُلْتُهُ، وَمَا سَمِعْتُ مِنْهُ فِيهِ شَيْئًا
Translation
Chain of narrators
machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to Ibn Ṭāwūs: “I was told that you say: Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān said: ‘If he does not find the age, then its value.’” He said: “I never said it.” He said: “Rather I said: ‘He gives whatever he wishes.’” He said: “Perhaps I said it, but I did not hear anything from him about it.”
