Translation
✧ A man from Banu Nahd said: "O Messenger of God, I possess much wealth." He said: "How much is your wealth?" He said: "The valley where I settle cannot contain it." He said: "How are you with the grant of milk animals?" He said: "A hundred every year." He said: "How are you with the covering of camels by a stallion?" He said: "The camels go out in the morning and the people go out, and whoever wishes to take a male camel takes one." He said: "How are you with hospitality?" He said: "By God, O Messenger of God, I adhere to the old she-camel, the decrepit one, the aged one, and the one with little milk." He said: "Is your wealth dearer to you or the wealth of your heirs?" He said: "Rather, my wealth." He said: "Then you only have from your wealth what you eat and consume, or wear and wear out, or spend and send forth; and what remains belongs to your heirs."
