عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ:
قَالَ عُمَرُ فِي صَدَقَةِ الْغَنَمِ: " يَعْتَامُهَا - يَعْنِي يَخْتَارُهَا صَاحِبُهَا - شَاةً شَاةً حَتَّى يَعْتَزِلَ ثُلُثَهَا، ثُمَّ يَصْدَعُ الْغَنَمَ صَدْعَيْنِ، فَيَخْتَارُ الْمُصَدِّقُ مِنْ أَحَدِهِمَا
Translation
✧ Umar said regarding the zakah of sheep: "Its owner selects them — meaning he chooses them — sheep by sheep until a third of them is set apart, then he divides the flock into two halves, and the collector chooses from one of the two."
