✧ The Prophet's ﷺ age and the age of some of his Companions

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
نَزَلَ الْوَحْيُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَهُوَ ابْنُ أَرْبَعِينَ، وَأَقَامَ بِمَكَّةَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ، وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا، وَتُوُفِّيَ ابْنَ ثَلَاثٍ وَسِتِّينَ
Translation
✧ Revelation came down upon the Prophet ﷺ when he was forty. He stayed in Makkah for thirteen years and in Madinah for ten, and he died at sixty-three.
