✧ Visiting the sick

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَوْ غَيْرِهِ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ:
مَا يَلْقَى أَهْلُ الْمَرِيضِ مِنْ عِيَادَةِ نَوْكَى الْقُرَّاءِ أَشَدُّ مِمَّا يَلْقَوْنَ مِنْ مَرِيضِهِمْ ".
Translation
✧ What the family of a sick person meets from the visitation of foolish reciters is harder than what they meet from their sick person.
