عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مَنْ أُصَدِّقُ:
أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ، عَادَ حُسَيْنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ فَلَقِيَ عَلِيًّا، فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ لِعَمْرٍو: " أَعُدْتَ حُسَيْنًا ؟ " قَالَ: نَعَمْ قَالَ: " عَلَى مَا فِي النَّفْسِ ؟ " قَالَ: إِنَّكَ يَا أَبَا حَسَنٍ لَا تَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ تُخْرِجَ مَا فِي النَّفْسِ، قَالَ: " أَمَا إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يَمْنَعْنِي نَصِيحَةً لَكَ، أَيُّمَا امْرِئٍ عَادَ مَرِيضًا وُكِّلَ بِهِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى مِثْلِهَا مِنَ الْغَدِ، وَإِنْ جَلَسَ جَلَسَ فِي رِيَاضِ الْجَنَّةِ وَفِي رَحْمَةِ اللهِ "
Translation
✧ Amr b. Hurayth visited Husayn b. Ali and met Ali. Ali said to Amr: “Have you visited Husayn?” He said: “Yes.” He said: “Despite what is in the heart?” He said: “You, O Abu al-Hasan, cannot remove what is in the heart.” He said: “That does not prevent me from giving you sincere advice: whichever man visits a sick person, seventy thousand angels are appointed over him who pray for him until the like of it on the morrow; and if he sits, he sits in the meadows of Paradise and in the mercy of God.”
