Translation
✧ A man died, and when he was placed in his grave, the angels came to him and said: 'We will flog you one hundred lashes of Allah's punishment.' He said: So he mentioned his prayer, his fasting, and his striving. He said: So they lightened it for him until it reached ten. Then he asked them until they lightened it for him until it came to one. They said: 'We will flog you one lash, there is no escape from it.' So they flogged him one lash, and his grave blazed with fire in the daytime, and he lost consciousness. When he regained consciousness, he said: 'For what did they flog me this lash?' They said: 'You urinated one day, then you prayed without performing ablution, and you heard a man crying out for help as one wronged, and you did not help him.'
