✧ Patience, weeping, and wailing

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ خَبَّابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْبَخْتَرِيِّ قَالَ:
الطَّعَامُ عَلَى الْمَيِّتِ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، وَبَيْتُوتَةُ الْمَرْأَةِ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْمَيِّتِ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، وَالنِّيَاحَةُ مِنْ أَمْرِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ
Translation
✧ Providing food for the deceased is from the affair of the Jahiliyyah, a woman spending the night at the house of the deceased is from the affair of the Jahiliyyah, and wailing is from the affair of the Jahiliyyah.
