✧ The prayer over the martyr and washing him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَمِعَ عِكْرِمَةَ يَقُولُ:
يُصَلَّى عَلَى الشَّهِيدِ وَلَا يُغَسَّلُ فَإِنَّ اللهَ قَدْ طَيَّبَهُ
Translation
✧ Prayer is performed over the martyr, and he is not washed, for God has already purified him.
