Translation

✧ ʿAlī said the takbīr four times over Yazīd b. al-Mukaffaf, and he sat on the grave while he was being buried. He said: “O Allah, Your servant and the son of Your servant has come down to You today, and You are the best with whom one alights. O Allah, make spacious for him his entry, and forgive him his sin. We know nothing of him but good, and You know him best.”
