عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ:
كَانَ الْمُهَاجِرُونَ يَلْحَدُونَ لِمَوْتَاهُمْ، وَيَنْصِبُونَ اللَّبِنَ عَلَى اللَّحْدِ نَصْبًا، ثُمَّ يَحْثُونَ عَلَيْهِمُ التُّرَابَ "
Translation
✧ The Muhajirun used to dig a lahd (side-niche) for their dead, and set bricks upright against the lahd, then throw dust over them.
