✧ Covering the grave with a cloth

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ:
مَاتَ الْحَارِثُ الْخَارِفِيُّ فَرَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ يَقُولُ: " اكْشُطُوا هَذَا الثَّوْبَ فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رَجُلٌ، يَعْنِي سَتْرَ الثَّوْبِ عَلَى الْقَبْرِ
Translation
✧ Al-Ḥārith al-Khārifī died, and I saw ʿAbd Allāh b. Yazīd say: 'Remove this cloth, for he is only a man,' meaning the cloth covering the grave.
