عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ:
حَضَرْتُ جِنَازَةَ الْحَارِثِ الْأَعْوَرِ الْخَارِفِيِّ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ عَلِيٍّ، وَابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، فَرَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ كَشَفَ ثَوْبَ النَّعْشِ عَنْهُ حِينَ أُدْخِلَ الْقَبْرَ، وَقَالَ: " إِنَّمَا هُوَ رَجُلٌ "، وَقَالَ: " رَأَيْتُ الذَّرِيرَةَ عَلَى كَفَنِهِ، وَاسْتَلَّهُ مِنْ نَحْوِ رِجْلِ الْقَبْرِ "، ثُمَّ قَالَ: " هَكَذَا
Translation
✧ I attended the funeral of al-Harith al-A'war al-Kharifi, who was a companion of Ali and Ibn Mas'ud. I saw Abd Allah b. Yazid al-Ansari uncover the bier cloth from him when he was placed in the grave and say: "He is only a man." He said: "I saw the powdered perfume on his shroud, and he pulled him out from the direction of the foot of the grave." Then he said: "Like this."
