✧ What is said when the deceased is lowered into the grave

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ،
أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ، كَانَ يَقُولُ إِذَا أَدْخَلَ الْمَيِّتَ اللَّحْدَ: " بِسْمِ اللهِ وَعَلَى مِلَّةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ وَبِالْيَقِينِ بِالْبَعْثِ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ
Translation
✧ Abu Bakr al-Siddiq used to say when the deceased was placed in the lahd: "In the name of Allah, and upon the faith of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and with certainty in the resurrection after death."
