✧ Washing the Feet

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ،
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ غَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا. ثُمَّ قَالَتْ لَنَا: إِنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ قَدْ دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ فَسَأَلَنِي عَنْ هَذَا [ الْحَدِيثِ - ظ ] فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ: يَأْبَى النَّاسُ إِلَّا الْغَسْلَ، وَنَجِدُ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ تَعَالَى الْمَسْحَ
Translation
✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ washed his two feet three times, three times. Then she said to us: 'Ibn ʿAbbās entered upon me and asked me about this [hadith], and I informed him, so he said: The people refuse anything but washing, while we find in the Book of Allah, Exalted is He, the wiping.'
