✧ Recitation and supplication in the prayer over the deceased
6475 6424 - عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ نَافِعًا يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ نَحْوَهُ، يَعْنِي بَارِكْ فِيهِ: تُدْخِلُهُ الْجَنَّةَ. متن مخفيكَانَ يَقُولُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ فِيهِ وَصَلِّ عَلَيْهِ وَاغْفِرْ لَهُ وَأَوْرِدْهُ حَوْضَ رَسُولِكَ ﷺ
Translation
✧ He used to say in the funeral prayer: 'O Allah, bless him, send prayers upon him, forgive him, and bring him to the basin of Your Messenger ﷺ.'
