✧ The takbir over the funeral

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مَعْبَدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَجْمَعُ النَّاسَ بِالْحَمْدِ، وَيُكَبِّرُ عَلَى الْجَنَائِزِ ثَلَاثًا
Translation
✧ He used to gather the people for the ḥamd and say three takbirs over funeral biers.
