Translation
✧ A wife of Abu Bakrah died, and her brothers came disputing with him over praying over her. Abu Bakrah said: "Were I not more entitled to pray over her, I would not dispute with you about that." He said: Then he went forward and prayed over her. Then he entered the grave and was brought out unconscious, and at that time he had thirty or forty sons and daughters. They cried out over him and he revived and said: "There is no soul on earth, not even the soul of a fly, dearer to me than that it leave my body." It was said to him: Why? He said: "Out of fear that a time may overtake me in which I do not enjoin good or forbid evil. What good am I then?"
