✧ Who has the most right to lead the prayer over the deceased

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنِ غَفَلَةَ قَالَ:
يُصَلِّي عَلَيْهَا مَنْ كَانَ يَؤُمُّهَا فِي حَيَاتِهَا قَالَ: وَذَلِكَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مَاتَتْ فِي قَوْمٍ آخَرِينَ فَقَالَ سُوَيْدُ بْنُ غَفَلَةَ ذَلِكَ
Translation
✧ The one who used to lead her in prayer during her life should pray over her. He said: That is because a woman died among another people, and Suwayd b. Ghafalah said that.
