✧ How the prayer is performed for men and women

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ رَزِينٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ: "
رَأَيْتُهُ جَاءَ إِلَى جَنَائِزِ رِجَالٍ وَنِسَاءٍ، فَقَالَ: أَيْنَ الصَّعَافِقَةُ، أَوْ مَا تَقُولُ الصَّعَافِقَةُ ؟ يَعْنِي الَّذِينَ يَطْعَنُونَ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ جَعَلَ الرِّجَالَ مِمَّا يَلُونَ الْإِمَامَ، وَالنِّسَاءَ أَمَامَ ذَلِكَ، بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى إِثْرِ بَعْضٍ "، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ بِأُمِّ كُلْثُومٍ وَزَيْدٍ، وَثَمَّ رِجَالٌ مِنْ بَنِي هَاشِمٍ قَالَ: أَرَاهُ ذَكَرَ حَسَنًا وَحُسَيْنًا
Translation
✧ I saw him come to the funerals of men and women and say: Where are the saafiqah, or what do the saafiqah say? Meaning those who criticize. He said: Then he placed the men next to the imam and the women beyond that, one after another. Then he mentioned that Ibn Umar did that with Umm Kulthum and Zayd, and there were men from Banu Hashim present. He said: I think he mentioned Hasan and Husayn.
