✧ Standing when one sees a funeral

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَنَّ مُجَاهِدًا قَالَ: كَانَ يُقَالُ:
إِذَا مَا صَلَّيْتُمْ عَلَى الْجِنَازَةِ فَقُومُوا حَتَّى تُرْفَعَ، فَحَوَّلَهَا النَّاسُ " فَقَالُوا: قُومُوا حَتَّى تُوضَعَ
Translation
✧ When you have prayed over the funeral bier, stand until it is lifted. Then people altered it and said: Stand until it is put down.
