✧ Standing when one sees a funeral

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَامِرُ بْنُ رَبِيعَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
إِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ جِنَازَةً فَلْيَقُمْ، حَتَّى تُخَلِّفَهُ أَوْ تُوضَعَ
Translation
✧ When one of you sees a funeral procession, let him stand until it passes him by or is put down.
