✧ Walking with the funeral

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
أَسْرِعُوا بِجَنَائِزِكُمْ فَإِنْ كَانَتْ صَالِحَةً عَجَّلْتُمْ بِهَا إِلَى الْخَيْرِ، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ طَالِحَةً اسْتَرَحْتُمْ مِنْهَا وَوَضَعْتُمُوهَا عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ
Translation
✧ Hasten with your funerals, for if the deceased was righteous, you are speeding him to good, and if he was otherwise, you are ridding yourselves of him and taking him off your necks.
