✧ The bier and seeking forgiveness

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ قَالَ:
أَخَذَ أَبُو جُحَيْفَةَ بِقَوَائِمِ سَرِيرِ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُرَحْبِيلَ، فَمَا فَارَقَهُ حَتَّى أَتَى الْقَبْرَ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: " اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِأَبِي مَيْسَرَةَ
Translation
✧ Abū Juḥayfah held the legs of the bier of ʿAmr b. Shuraḥbīl and did not leave it until he reached the grave, saying: O Allah, forgive Abū Maysarah.
