Translation

✧ When Hudhayfa was near death, Hudhayfa said to Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari, "What part of the night is this?" He said, "The greater pre-dawn." He said, "Seeking refuge with Allah from the Fire. Buy for me two garments and do not go to excess for yourselves. If your companion is pleasing, he will be clothed in something better than them; otherwise, he will be stripped with a swift stripping," or he said, "quickly."
