عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،
أَنَّهُ حَضَرَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ وَهُوَ يَمُوتُ، فَقَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ الْمَيِّتَ يُبْعَثُ فِي ثِيَابِهِ الَّتِي قُبِضَ فِيهَا، ثُمَّ قَالَ أَبُو سَعِيدٍ: قَدْ أَوْصَيْتُ أَهْلِي أَنْ لَا يَتْبَعُونِي بِنَارٍ، وَلَا يَضْرِبُوا عَلَى قَبْرِي فُسْطَاطًا، وَاحْمِلُونِي عَلَى قَطِيفَةٍ أُرْجُوَانٍ.
Translation
✧ He was present when Abu Said al-Khudri was dying. Abu Said said: I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Indeed, the deceased will be resurrected in the clothes in which his soul was taken." Then Abu Said said: I have instructed my family not to follow me with fire, and not to set up a tent over my grave. Carry me on a purple velvet cloth.
