عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ:
أَيُعَمَّمُ الْمَيِّتُ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا، قُلْتُ: أَيُحْشَى الْكُرْسُفَ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ؛ لِأَنْ لَا يَتَفَجَّرَ مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ.
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: I said to ʿAṭāʾ:
✧ Should the deceased be wrapped with a turban? He said: "No." I said: Should cotton be inserted? He said: "Yes, so that nothing leaks from him."
