✧ Whoever washes a deceased person should perform ghusl or wudu

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ:

إِذَا غَسَّلْتَ الْمَيِّتَ فَأَصَابَكَ مِنْهُ أَذًى فَاغْتَسِلْ، وَإِلَّا إِنَّمَا يَكْفِيكَ الْوُضُوءُ

Translation

✧ When you wash a deceased person and some impurity from him touches you, then perform ghusl; otherwise, wudu is sufficient for you.
