✧ Whoever washes a deceased person should perform ghusl or wudu

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ:
أَغْتَسِلُ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ ؟ قَالَ: " أَمُؤْمِنٌ هُوَ ؟ قُلْتُ: أَرْجُو قَالَ: " فَتَمَسَّحْ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ وَلَا تَغْتَسِلْ مِنْهُ
Translation
✧ Should I perform ghusl from [washing] a deceased person? He said: "Is he a believer?" I said: "I hope so." He said: "Then wipe yourself because of the believer, but do not perform ghusl from it."
