✧ Washing the Feet

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُوَيْدٍ،
أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ لِعُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْمَسْحَ عَلَى الْقَدَمَيْنِ فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ بَلَغَنِي عَنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ أَدْنَاهُمُ ابْنُ عَمِّكَ الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ غَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ
Translation
✧ He mentioned to ʿUmar b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz the wiping over the two feet, so he said: 'It has reached me from three of the Companions of Muḥammad ﷺ, the least of them being your cousin al-Mughīrah b. Shuʿbah, that the Prophet ﷺ washed his two feet.'
