أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي السَّلِيلِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ:

أَيُّ آيَةٍ فِي كِتَابِ اللهِ أَعْظَمُ ؟ فَقَالَ: اللهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ، يُكَرِّرُهَا مِرَارًا، ثُمَّ قَالَ أُبَيٌّ: آيَةُ الْكُرْسِيِّ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " لِيَهْنِكَ الْعِلْمُ أَبَا الْمُنْذِرِ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنَّ لَهَا لَلِسَانًا وَشَفَتَيْنِ تُقَدِّسَانِ لِلْمَلِكِ عِنْدَ سَاقِ الْعَرْشِ

Translation

✧ Which verse in the Book of God is greatest? He said: God and His Messenger know best, repeating it several times. Then Ubayy said: The Verse of the Throne. The Prophet ﷺ said: "May knowledge be pleasant for you, Abu al-Mundhir. By the One in whose hand is my soul, it has a tongue and two lips that sanctify the King at the foot of the Throne."
