✧ Keeping watch over the Quran and forgetting it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ:
إِذَا سَأَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ صَاحِبَهُ: كَيْفَ يَقْرَأُ آيَةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا، فَلْيَسْأَلْهُ عَمَّا قَبْلَهَا
Translation
✧ When one of you asks his companion: How do you recite such-and-such a verse? Let him ask him about the one before it.
