✧ Keeping watch over the Quran and forgetting it

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ بَيَانٍ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ:
أَقْرَأُ النَّاسِ لِهَذَا الْقُرْآنِ الْمُنَافِقُ لَا يَذَرُ مِنْهُ أَلِفًا وَلَا وَاوًا يَلُفُّهُ بِلِسَانٍ كَمَا تَلُفُّ الْبَقَرَةُ الْكَلَأَ بِلِسَانِهَا
Translation
✧ The best reciter of this Qur'an among the people is the hypocrite; he does not leave out an alif or a waw from it, wrapping it with his tongue as a cow wraps up grass with its tongue.
