أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
لَا حَسَدَ إِلَّا عَلَى اثْنَتَيْنِ: رَجُلٌ آتَاهُ اللهُ الْقُرْآنَ فَهُوَ يَقُومُ بِهِ آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ، وَرَجُلٍ آتَاهُ اللهُ مَالًا فَهُوَ يُنْفِقُ مِنْهُ، يَعْنِي الصَّدَقَةَ وَمَا أَشْبَهَهَا آنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ
Translation
✧ There is no envy except in two cases: a man to whom God gave the Qurʾān and he stands with it through the hours of night and day, and a man to whom God gave wealth and he spends from it—meaning charity and the like—through the hours of night and day.
